It’s a Blog Train for iNSD!

Happy Saturday, and Happy {inter}National Scrapbook Day!  I hope you have a fun day of socializing and scrapping planned! I, myself, have plans to make a major dent in DD’s autograph book for our weekend trip to Disneyworld at the end of the month, and hopefully get a start on some teacher gifts!

You are probably arriving here from Dalis’s blog– welcome to the blog of Geeky Diva Designs! I’m Kim, and you are cruising through Columbus, Ohio. I like to say we live in the left ventricle of the heart of Buckeye Country. Your next stop after grabbing my hybrid printable freebie is Kat’s blog.  If you get lost at any point, you can always head back to www.scrapmatters.com for a complete list.

The free with purchase kit at ScrapMatters this year is called Moments That Matter, so for this year’s train, we’re sharing our own moments that matter.  You’ve read about engagements and weddings and faith, but I’m going to share a simple everyday moment.

In addition to designing, I work full time, so my children spend at least part of the day in daycare. Sure there are the important big moments with them- their arrival, big milestones, and all.  However, the moment that means the most to me is when I arrive at daycare to pick them up.  They look up, recognize me, and take off running to me for a big hug.

I.  Love.  That.  Makes me all warm and fuzzy. 🙂

Here is my freebie for you:

(Freebie disabled- off to the shop it goes!!)

Here’s a photo of my finished version

Don’t delay too long before you grab it- I’ll only have it up until Thursday, May 6th, and then I turn it over to The Team to be put in the shop.  I hope you like it!

Again, have a great day!  Time to head over to see Kat!

  1. Love your moment! I remember (many years ago) when my two were in daycare. I couldn’t wait to get there from work to get them! Thanks for sharing your moment and the gorgeous bag!!
